Establish a fund for prevention and treatment of airway disorders for the underserved community
Sometimes the treatment to correct an airway disorder is too expensive and not fully covered by insurance. The Revolution can help.
In The Battle to Breathe we see how Sydney and a few others were able to receive the care she needed to get to a successful outcome. The film also reveals that some do not have the same resources to access the healthcare required for diagnosis and treatment. Along with education, assistance and insurance is not yet there for these patients.
The Airway Revolution Foundation has made a commitment to assist those who suffer from upper airway challenges but do not have the capacity or resources to cover the costs. The Foundation is establishing a fund to be managed by Columbia University to help those who can’t afford proper treatment. This fund will also contribute to preventative education in the community, with the hope of identifying airway disorders much earlier, and enabling the proper treatment.
Providing this access supports our mission to revolutionize healthcare.
